In 2011 Mr.Woodnote & Lil Rhys created ‘Modus Operandi’, their first album as a duo. Mr.Woodnote’s beats, horns and compositions never fail to satisfy and the genre smashing rhythms are complimented by Lil Rhys’ tight lyrical flow and imaginative content. The album also features Eva Lazarus on tracks such as ‘Diamonds in the Dirt’ and ‘Spacedust’; her serene and striking vocals have elevated the sound to the a whole new level.

lyrics
Well they don't make 'em like this, they make 'em like that,
We made this tight track just to take you right back,
And hook you like crack, hit you like a spiked bat,
I wouldn't want to hurt you, man, I wouldn't like that,
On my flight path I take flight, circumnavigate life,
No need for brake lights, we're tighter than drainpipes,
Aint right then fix it, have another biscuit,
Dunk it, you can dip it whilst I spit a couple lyrics,
Kipping, counting sheep, drowned in dreams, sound asleep,
Only waking up because the music keeps on pounding me,
I found my feet, I make my way around the beat,
Use the kind of speech they could do with up in Downing Street,
On the bounding seas we'll make waves, the great apes,
We'll break chains, embrace pains and race to the space age,
On the same page? Say "Yes!", pat your back and stay blessed,
Wrap yourself in music and stay fresh.
They don't make 'em like this anymore,
Type to get the breakers all out on the floor,
They don't make 'em like this anymore,
Type to get the graffers, writing up on the wall,
They don't make 'em like this anymore,
Type to get the MC saying "That's raw!"
They don't make 'em like this anymore,
And we aint saying nothing that you aint heard before.
So let's party 'til we're hopeless and coatless and phone-less,
And halfway to homeless with nasty hangovers,
Getting hold of anything to smoke is a bonus,
Awful aromas and oddball personas,
Losing focus like my whole generation,
We know we're getting fucked, we can feel the penetration,
Hate the situation we get too much information,
We talk about our fears but we rarely tend to face 'em,
This is for the inter-nation, all of us, the planet,
We know we're soon to vanish but you never see us panic,
Though the facts are stacked and they're absolutely savage,
We heard a lot of Bob and we're way to busy jamming,
"We're Jammin, Jammin, and I hope you like Jammin Too",
What can we do to keep it smoove? Play a tune let it slay all your blues,
And keep it cool while your under the groove.
They don't make 'em like this anymore,
Type to get the breakers all out on the floor,
They don't make 'em like this anymore,
Type to get the graffers, writing up on the wall,
They don't make 'em like this anymore,
Type to get the MC saying "That's raw!"
They don't make 'em like this anymore,
And we aint saying nothing that you aint heard before.
